All students go outside each day except in extreme cold conditions, when the wind chill reaches -10 F.  Children need to be appropriately dressed for the weather with a coat, warm clothing, hat, mittens/gloves.  We require students to wear boots from the first snowfall until the weather warms up enough and the principal announces otherwise. Students in grades K-3 are required to wear snow pants during the winter months. Please label all items with your child/children’s name.

All students must wear snow pants to play off the blacktop area.

Kindergarten Registration Round-up is Tuesday, Feb. 7, 2017

Kindergarten Round-up is an informational event for parents of incoming Kindergarten parents. If you haven't already done so, please bring in your completed registration paperwork to round-up. This event is for parents only. (Later in Spring, Linwood will be hosting an event for all registered incoming Kindergarten students to introduce them to the fun they can expect in Kindergarten! Please watch this website for information as it becomes available.) In order to accommodate family schedules, parents can chose either of two sessions. One session will be held at 1:30 p.m. for parents who are available during the day, and the other session will be held at 6:00 p.m. for parents who prefer an evening session.

Kindergarten Buddy Day is Scheduled for May 23rd.
All registered incoming Kindergartners and their parents are welcome. Parents will have a chance to get questions answered and tour the school. Registered incoming Kindergartners will experience the classroom, then meet their parents on the playground for some fun and frozen treats!
Kindergarten Meet and Greet
All registered incoming Kindergartners will meet with a Kindergarten Teacher for a one-on-one half hour assessment. This allows the staff to get to know your child, and help us prepare for the first day of school. Dates are to be determined, but will be late July/Early August.
