Need Firewood? 

The School Forest is partnering with the Fire Department to cut up downed trees. If you need firewood, stop by either entrance and fill your trailer (or back of pickup) for $20. Saturday, October 29th, 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. First come, first served until the wood runs out.

Youth Night (grades 4 - 6)

Join all your friends from school for a night of fun and games! Whether you're on the basketball court, at the volleyball nets or jumping in the pool, you'll have an amazing time. When you need a break, try your hand at bingo. Great prizes will be available all night. Pizza, water and snacks will be available for purchase. ($1.50-$2 each) Registration fee covers all activities. Bring a swimsuit and towel if you plan on swimming.
Friday Nov 11, from 6:30-8:30 p.m. Fee is $10 if you register by November 4. $15 after November 4. Register here.

Yearbook on Sale Now! 

Discounted early bird price of $12 through the end of October! Price increases to full price of $15 on November 1st. Order your yearbook today. Last year we sold out and had some very disappointed students. Yearbooks will ONLY be available online. You can find them at or simply click on the Yearbook Quick Link on the left side of this page!
There is a cover design contest going on for all Linwood students. Please submit them to the office on a smooth, white, 8.5" x 11" sheet of paper. Deadline is Friday, November 11th!

Metro Dining Cards Available!        MDC Logo

The Linwood School Forest Committee is selling Metro Dining Cards for $24. The regions available are North/ Northeast and St. Paul/Western Wisconsin. They are available in the Linwood Elementary Office from 7:30-4, Monday-Friday through 10/31/2016 (or while supplies last). The cards support the maintenance of the School Forest and outdoor programs for our students.

Forest Lake Ski Swap October 29 

The Forest Lake Alpine Ski Team is holding its annual Ski/Snowboard Sale and Swap October 29 at the Forest Lake High School Field House (Door 9), 8am – 1pm. Area skiers will once again find great deals on new and used snowboards, downhill and cross country skis, snow shoes, ski boots, and ski equipment/clothing. Admission is free. Payment is by check or cash only.

Selling Your Used Equipment: Anyone wishing to sell used equipment may check it in on Friday, Oct. 28, from 5-8pm at Forest Lake High School, Door 9. Booster Club members will be available to assist with check in and to answer questions. The fee to sell equipment is $5 per person due at check-in, plus a 15% commission on sold equipment. Unsold items must be picked up on Saturday, Oct. 29, between 2 pm and 4 pm or they will be considered donations. Checks for sold equipment will be mailed to sellers.

Picture Retake Day is Wednesday, November 2 

If your student missed picture day, this is your chance to get his/her student picture taken. There are order forms available in the office. Or you can order ONLINE by using picture day I.D. # MI196213Y1.
If you had your student's picture taken, but are not happy with the picture, this is your chance to have it retaken. Just bring in your entire package and it will be replaced with the new photo.
