Kindergarten 16/17:

Do you have a child who will be starting Kindergarten with us in the Fall? Registrations are now due! Please stop in or call the office 651-982-1907 for information on how to register.
Have you already registered your child for Kindergarten for the 2016/2017 school year? Save these dates:
Buddy Day: June 2nd from 5-6 pm
Our new Kindergartners will have a sample of what it's like to be a Linwood Kindergartner! They will meet in the Kindergarten rooms with our teachers, Mrs. Magnuson and Ms. Pearl. Parents will meet with our Principal, Mr. Caldwell, for a school tour. Everyone, students and parents alike, are encouraged to ask any questions you have about Kindergarten and about Linwood.
Meet and Greet: August  9th and 10th (by appointment)
Your family will get a letter in July with a time and date for your Kindergartner to meet one-on-one with a Kindergarten Teacher. This time is reserved just for your child so it is important you are here and on time. The teachers will do a baseline assessment on all the incoming students. This helps our teacher effectively plan the first lessons of the school year. It's also a wonderful way for the teachers to get to know your child as an individual, and for your child to get to know his/her teacher as well. It is vital your child is at their Meet & Greet appointment. If you can't make your appointment time, please call the office 651-982-1907 as soon as possible to re-schedule!
Popsicles and Play: August 16th from 2-3 pm
Just for fun! Meet the Kindergarten teachers and office staff on the Linwood Elementary playground (the bigger one behind the school). Have a popsicle and meet some new friends and classmates right before school starts. Parents can visit with other parents, and have a chance for any last minute questions. (Event will be held in the gymnasium if the weather doesn't cooperate.)

Arts and Academic Fair

Thursday, 5/5/2016 from 6-8 pm in the Linwood Elementary Gymnasium
Project drop-off times:
Wednesday, 5/4 from 4-6 pm. (There are volleyball and soccer groups scheduled in the gym at that time. If weather permits, they will be outside. In that case, projects can be set up in the gym. If the weather is inclement, the teams will need to use the gym. Projects will need to be stored on the stage.)
Thursday, 5/5 from 8-9 am.
